A fully trained nurse carries out these clinics. Appointments can be made by telephone or at reception.
Epilepsy & Hypothyroid
Clinics Dr O’Loughlin operates these clinics. Appointments are available on request.
The practice runs a baby clinic each Tuesday morning from 10.30am -12.00noon. The GP, Health Visitor and Practice Nurse are available to immunise babies only. Any other advice required contact Bridie at Kilkeel Primary Care Centre on 02841760835
Cervical Smear Clinic (Well Woman)
It is important that women aged between 20 and 65 have a cervical smear test every 3 to 5 years. Dr Marie O��Loughlin or the Practice Nurse carry out these tests. Please phone reception for an appointment.
Treatment will be provided by any of the doctors. Drs Poots and Dorman specialise in Implant insertion and Drs O’Loughlin and Dorman in IUCD fitting. Appointments are available on request.
Minor Surgery services are provided by Dr Poots. The sessions are run on alternative Thursday afternoons.
We are a registered yellow fever centre. We provide this as part of a comprehensive travel package. The cost for yellow fever vaccination and certification is £60. Please contact our practice nurse in advance if you wish to avail of this service.
