Wearing a mask during your visit to the surgery

Wearing a mask during your visit is not compulsory but is strongly recommended.

This is not so much to protect you but to protect our staff and our vulnerable patients.

If you choose not to wear a mask - for whatever reason - we will offer you a consultation in our isolation room.

Building work at the surgery

You will have noticed the work being carried on in the surgery over the last few months.
Our new extension is virtually complete and we moved in last week. It provides five new consulting rooms and a disability access toilet.
The next phase was due to start on Monday 28 February but has been delayed. It involves rewiring and modernising the original building. This means that there will be no access for staff or patients to this part of the building for perhaps six to eight weeks. For this reason we are unable to "open our doors" at present but we continue to see patients in the new building and temporary Portacabins at the rear of the site.
Please bear with us during this disruption - we are confident it will be worth the wait!

COVID-19 BOOSTERS

The practice will shortly commence Covid-19 spring boosters for the over 75s only.

We cannot offer vaccination to any other patients at present.

We will contact patients directly with the details.

Please do not ring the surgery

Appointment Update April 2022

The surgery is currently extremely busy. Please can we ask patients to contact the surgery EARLY in the day if they require an appointment with a GP.

Routine telephone calls can now only be accepted before 11.00am.

Some patients require a face-to-face appointment with the GP. These generally take place in the afternoon, meaning that we will now only be able to accept URGENT telephone calls in the afternoon.

Thank you for your understanding.

Have a look around our website and please do send us some feedback. We can use your thoughts to improve our online services and further develop the website to make it more useful for our patients.
